Kathleen Wynne approval rating 45 percent, but Liberals strrugle at only 11 percent

TORONTO: Things don’t look good for the ruling Liberal Party in Ontario if a new survey taken in Toronto is any indication.

Just 11 percent of Torontonians say they will vote for the Liberals in the provincial polls to be held next June.

However, there is still a silver lining for the Liberals.

In the survey commissioned by the local radio NEWSTALK 1010, 45 percent respondents said they are still open to voting for Premier Kathleen Wynne whose government is burdening by the legacy of scandals from the previous Liberal government.

“These are clearly the worst polling numbers that I’ve seen in close to 30 years,” the radio network has quoted pollster John Wright as saying.

But if people vote only for Kathleen Wynne, the Liberals could be back in power.
