MUMBAI (Sep 5, 2013): Film producer Boney Kapoor is receiving death threats on the phone from someone linked to the underworld.
According to police, death threats are coming from underworld don Ravi Pujari’s gang and being linked to the arrest of two persons who were nabbed in Feb 2012 for burglary at Boney Kapoor’s bungalow in Andheri.
The two accused has been charged with stealing cash and jewelry worth over Rs six lakh.
PTI quoted a police officer at Oshiwara police station as saying that “the caller had given death threats saying that because of the film producer, his two men had been arrested and the caller wanted to take revenge now.’’
Boney Kapoor is the husband of actress Sridevi.
