Craiglist male friend sexually assaulted by Toronto man

TORONTO: Toronto Police are looking for a man who is wanted for sexually assaulting another man whom he met through craiglist.

Abdi Dirie, 27, of Toronto, allegedly placed an ad in the `personals’ section of craigslist.

The male victim responded to the ad and the two became acquainted, police say.

Abdi sexually assaulted the male victim on April 4 when they were together at a short-term rental unit in the Liberty Village area.

The accused also extorted cash from the victim on more than one occasion.

Abdi is also wanted on previous charges of assault and failure to comply with probation orders.

He has been charged with sexual assault, extortion and failure to comply with probation conditions.

Abdi is described as 6’, 205 lbs., black hair, brown eyes.
