MUMBAI: A city businessman has been arrested after Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman filed a rape case against him with the police.
Sarfaraz Mohammed, 38, was arrested on Thursday night after the 69-year-old actress filed the complaint with the Juhu police station.
The accused is also known by the name of Aman Khanna, according to police. The Crime Branch is investigating the case.
The sultry actress ruled the box office in the 1970s. She is known for her films as Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Satyam Shivam Sundram, and Insaaf Ka Tarazu.
Zeenat has two sons – Azaan and Zahaan – with Mazhar Khan. She was also in a relationship with actor Sanjay Khan after the death of Mazhar Khan in 1998.
