3 Indo-Canadian men arrested in Brampton road rage case

BRAMPTON: Three Indo-Canadian men have been arrested for a road rage incident in Brampton on March 27.

According to police, the incident happened on Torbram Road near Eagleridge Drive, in Brampton when the victim was driving his car.

An interaction occurred between the victim and the occupants of a gold-coloured Hyundai Sonata with Ontario licence plate CXHK981.

During this incident, the victim was confronted by four individuals. One of them tried to open the victim’s window. Then he shattered the windscreen of the victim’s vehicle.

After damaging the victim’s car, the assailants drove away in their car.

On April 2, police caught up the assailants and they were arrested.

Ramanpreet Massih, 23, from Caledon, has been charged with mischief over $5000.

Akashdeep Singh, a 28-year-old man from Caledon, faces charges of dangerousdriving, mischief over $5000 and uttering threats.

Sourav, a 28-year-old man from Brampton, to faces charges of mischief over $5000.

The three will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

A fourth suspect is still outstanding. He is described as South Asian, 6’0 tall, last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, black graffiti hooded sweatshirt with “Jordan 33” written in red, dark-coloured pants, and red and white low-top Jordan sneakers.
