A Czech model, who was probably working as a `heroin mule’ for some international gangs and caught at Pakistan’s Lahore airport with nine kg of heroin last year, has been jailed for almost nine years by a court in Lahore.
Sentencing her to eight years and eight months, the judge also fined her Pakistani rupees 113,000.
Model Tereza Hluskova, 21, was arrested on January 10, 2018, with the heroin in her luggage while boarding a flight for Abu Dhabi. She was reportedly on her way to Dublin via Abu Dhabi.
After her arrest, the model told Pakistani custom officials, “They gave me something for luggage, three statues or something. They said it was gifts. I didn’t know there was something inside.’’
