Neha Sharma, 28, of Brampton faces murder charges as she stabs woman

BRAMPTON: Neha Sharma, 28, of Brampton has been charged with attempted murder in a case of stabbing in a city store on Monday.

The victim is also a woman in her 20s, but unknown to Sharma.

The stabbing incident happened at about 2 am when Neha Sharma and her victim were at the same store in the area of Kennedy Road and Queen Street in Brampton.

Neha approached the other woman and stabbed her.

The victim was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. 

Neha was arrested from inside the store.

On Tuesday, she was charged with attempted murder.

The condition of the victim is better now.
