MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi has been arrested for threatening the residents of her housing society in Ahmedabad.
Police say the actress was arrested after housing society chairman Parag Shah filed a complaint against her for harassing society members and warning children that she would break their legs if played in the common area of the society.
Payal Rohatgi is staying with her parents who own an apartment in the society.
She also reportedly abused housing society members when she was asked to leave their annual general meeting on June 20 as she doesn’t own any house in the society.
The actress posted an abusive message on the society’s WhatsApp group and threatened to get them arrested in false cases.
