BRAMPTON: Three Indo-Canadian men have been arrested and charged with possession of drugs and illegal firearms.
Kuldeep Singh, 20, Sahajjot Singh, 21, and Taranjeet Singh, 22, all from Brampton, were arrested when Peel Police raided a residence in Brampton in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Steeles Avenue West and seized drugs and firearms on May 13.
The seized firearms include a sawed-off Remington 870 express shotgun, a Savage .22 calibre rifle, a replica MP5, and ammunition.
The three accused appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on May 14 for a bail hearing.
Kuldeep Singh was released and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
