Two Mississauga men dead in Brampton road collision

BRAMPTON: Two persons from Mississauga are dead and one is serious in a collision between a tractor-trailer and a car at Steeles Avenue East and Bramalea Road in Brampton on Saturday night. 

The collision between a 2014 Chrysler 300 luxury car and a 2015 Freight Liner tractor-trailer occurred at about 12.30 am.

The front seat passenger of the car, a 19-year-old man from Mississauga, died on the scene because of his injuries.

The driver and the rear passenger of the car were rushed to a trauma centre. But the driver, a 21-year-old man from Mississauga, succumbed to his injuries.

The car’s rear passenger, a 20-year-old man from Mississauga, is still currently in critical condition at the hospital.  

The operator of the Freight Liner tractor-trailer, a 47-year-old man from Brampton, was not required to go to the hospital.
