BRAMPTON: Kartik Tugnait, 32, of Brampton has been arrested and charged with vandalism and hate-motivated crimes.
Kartik committed a series of mischiefs in an area surrounding The Gore Road in Brampton between April and December.
Peel Police said several bus shelters, buildings and vehicles were vandalized by him with graffiti, depicting racial remarks and offensive images.
Police say he was motivated by hate to commit these crimes.
In all, Kartik has been charged with 11 counts of mischief each over $5000.
Police released him after getting an undertaking that he will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on February 17.
