MISSISSAUGA: Charanjeet Singh, 26, of Mississauga has been arrested for stabbing to death his 22-year-old wife Chandanpreet Kaur inside a Canadian Tire store.
Peel regional police say the stabbing took place in a retail store in the Mavis Road and Britannia Road area around 6 p.m. on Monday.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police closed the Mississauga Canadian Tire store and arrested the husband Charanjeet Singh. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The husband has been charged with first-degree murder.
