MISSISSAUGA: A 69-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault on a young woman in Mississauga.
Remy Fernandes, a volunteer with St Francis Xavier Church in Mississauga, allegedly sexually assaulted a young person on January 19.
After investigations, police arrested Remy Fernandes on February 3 and charged him with sexual assault.
He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on February 4..
Remy Fernandes currently teaches music lessons from his home. He retired in 2008 after teaching at the Mississauga Private School in Etobicoke which is now closed.
Investigators believe there may be more victims of this man and asked them to come forward.
