Paul Manzon of Caledon arrested for causing Brampton road deaths

Peel Police said Paul Manzon was driving the sports car that was involved in the fatal collision that claimed three lives

BRAMPTON: Peel Police’s investigators from the Major Collision Bureau have arrested a man in connection with a fatal collision that killed three persons last month.

Paul Manzon, 45, of Caledon, was arrested on September 24. He was driving the sports car that was involved in the fatal collision on August 4.

The accident happened at approximately 9:02 pm on that night when an SUV and the sports car both travelling on Highway 50 in Brampton  became involved in a collision.

As a result of the collision, a 47-year-old woman from Woodbridge was pronounced dead on the scene. A 12-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy also from Woodbridge were rushed to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

Three others suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Peel Police has charged Paul Manzon with dangerous driving causing three deaths.

He was released and will appear at the A. Grenville & William Davis Court House in Brampton on October 2.
