MUMBAI: Bollywood diva Vidya Balan has traversed a journey of amazing change in just a few years. She has become such a versatile and bold actress who loves to take up out-of-the-box roles.
The 36-year-old actress, who has gone on to carve out a niche for herself in Bollywood after her debut in the entertainment industry with Zee TV show Hum Paanch in 1995, gets all kinds of compliments for her acting skills.
So in her latest interview with Filmfare, Vidya gets asked about the finest compliment she ever got.
“A painter once told me that I’m like Khajuraho, which you see once but which remains with you forever. I thought that was exquisite.’’
Now, you know Khajuraho is known for its erotica temples which are over a thousand years old.
For that good painter, Vidya is Khajuraho for good reason. He must have seen Vidya’s bold role in The Dirty Picture quite a few times. Hai nah!
