Hate crime at place of worship in Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA: Peel Police are hunting for suspects involved in a hate-motivated incident at a place of worship in Mississauga on Sunday – August 1.

The incident came to notice at approximately 8.15 am when police attended a place of worship in the area of Lakeshore Road and Peter Street in Mississauga.

Police found the spray-painted writing on the doors of the place of worship, treating it as a hate-motivated incident.

According to police investigators, the incident occurred sometime between 6.30 pm on July 31 and 7.30 am August 1.

Police have sought help from the public to come forward with any information related to the crime.
