Priyanka Chopra Madame Tussauds statue joins the elite Indian list at the world-famous wax museum

MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra becomes the latest Bollywood celebrity to be immortalized at Madame Tussauds in London with a wax statue.
The Quantico star joins the list of Bollywood heroes such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan who already have their wax statues at the world-famous museum.
“I love London, it has such an energy and spirit to it. Working with Madame Tussauds London’s team has been so much fun. It’s incredible to think that my fans can now meet my figure in one of my favourite cities in the world,” Priyanka said after joining Madame Tassauds.

“Fans have been waiting to see the hotly-anticipated London arrival since the first figure was revealed earlier this year in Priyanka’s adopted hometown of New York. Madame Tussauds London joins its sister sites in Sydney and Asia in unveiling their figures to long-awaiting fans,” the museum said in a statement.
The wax statue shows Priyanka Chopra in a golden sequined gown by Ralph Lauren that she wore to the 2017 Golden Globes. It also shows her wearing her diamond wedding and engagement ring.
The actress married American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas last December.
